News Stories

As we gear up for the 2026-27 school year, we want to make sure our Bulldog Community knows some of the people who they will see in the building, what they do, and how they can help!

We are starting with each of our front office teams and will start as any student starting their D92 journey would, at Walsh School!

In the photo you see the four incredible women who are here to keep the school day moving smoothly behind the scenes. They also might be the first faces you see when you enter the building.

From Left to Right, we have Principal Mrs. Megan Urban, two amazing secretaries, Mrs. Megan Ditmore and Ms. Amy Schroll, and School Nurse Mrs. Jen Fisher.

We asked them a few questions and wanted to share a few fun facts!

What is your favorite thing about the school day?

• Mrs. Urban: “The absolute best part of every day is getting hugs from our students!”
• Mrs. Schroll: “My favorite part of the school day is morning arrival because we get to welcome each student with a smile and help them get excited for the day ahead.”

What’s a fun fact about you?

• Mrs. Fisher: “A fun fact about me is that I originally went to college to become a pilot... then I switched to nursing!”
• Mrs. Ditmore: “I attended college on a music scholarship, even though I didn't major in music. I played the violin in the symphony and even traveled with my group to perform on cruise ships!”

Be sure to say hello the next time you’re at Walsh!
